Aalst Chocolate participated in Bakery China 2017 on the 10th – 13rd May held in Shanghai at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC). The event was a success as we get to connect and exchange experience with our Shanghai Sales team and their customers. We were also able to gain in-depth market insights of the ever changing Food Service market in China through extensive discussions with our guests.
Concurrently, we also hosted our Pâtissier customers for a two-day Pâtissier chocolate workshop on 12nd and 13rd May 2017 in our Shanghai Office. Our Corporate Chef and Vice President of Food Service, Chef Jacques Poulain used our premium range of chocolate and demonstrated several applications and recipes such as Pave Parisan, Ganache 61% Chocolate, Praline Old Fashion, 3-Way Chocolate, Chocolate Chestnut Confit and Cremeux Chocolate Cake. During this workshop, Chef Jacques also gave an insightful lesson on the difference between Artisan Couverture, Artisan Chocolate and Gourmand Compound. We hope that this session was an enriching experience for our guests!
Next up, the team will be presenting and supporting our distributor at their booth during THAIFEX 2017, held in Thailand, Bangkok from the 31st – 4th June.
